Best Beach Memories

This morning I found a wonderful site that I want to share with you. It's called The Best Beaches of the World.

Its searchable, very interactive and well laid out. It's got lovely photos of beaches submitted by readers just like you and I. I think it's the dismal weather here lately that is making me crave the sun and the shore. Not only that but I have many, mostly fond, memories of the beach.

The best one of the bunch though is our wedding. DH, DD and myself went the the United States Virgin Islands and selected Gibneys Beach on St. John to be married. We had found Bob Davis, a local minister, photographer, diver and chauffeur who married us and took the photos. He was very helpful in driving us around, picking us up from the ferry and dropping us off at dinner.

There are just a few of the wonderful shots we got back from Bob of our sunset wedding, I treasure them.

This was a complete surprise, but again made for some very fond memories of our special day.

Now off to research more beaches in hopes of planning a sweet vacation this spring. Do you have a favorite beach destination spot? Do tell.

Lovely photos - it looks like you had a fantastic day. We got married on the beach too at Margaret River in Western Australia! Let's hope the summer comes soon ( I think it will be with you sooner than us!)

Thank so much! I love Australia, haven't been in about 10+ years though. I have some lovely customers over there and would really like to visit again soon.

More, more!
The black sand beach in the Hawaiian islands is pretty amazing, but not as romantic.
