Mahalo nui loa Maui Jim


Aloha kakahiaka (good morning to you my friends),

Today I have to tell you about my uber fabulous experience with Maui Jim. They, hands down, make the BEST sunglasses on the Planet! I replaced my Ray Bans about a year ago with some Maui Jims. I had got them as a present, but still, I wore them religiously every day. You know you should wear sunglasses when you go outside right? Those UV rays will do some major damage to your peeps, so if you go out, wear sunglasses!



Anyway, one of the lens' broke, so I looked on line to send them in for a replacement lens. Send in $10 plus my glasses to get fixed and the customer reviews were awesome. Customer service, in my mind, rates more than the whole brand experience. If a company can fix my problem and make me feel good in the process, I'm a customer for life. Maui Jim just did that and more for me.

They followed up with an email and a postcard, asking for more info, I called and talked to Tate (who was filling in for Amber). Amber's hours were to 3:30 11:30 CST. Seriously, when was the last time YOU had a customer service rep available after 5PM? And what a pleasant experience! Tate was an absolute dream to work with. He confirmed my shipping addy, told me my glasses would ship out tomorrow with not one new lens, but two, and that I could expect them in 3-5 days (shipping via USPS priority mail), and if I had any further questions or problems to call him direct. When I asked Tate "what is the best thing about working for Maui Jim?" his answer was "The general Aloha Spirit of the company towards not only customers but employees (ohana)." Tells me a lot about Maui Jim and Tate who has been there for 2 years now.
