Beach Couture by Adriana Degreas - Paris Spring Summer 2014

This morning my on-line friend Jasmin Jones from Australia posted this video on Facebook. First off - Thank you Jazzie! This collection is downright stunning and I'm enamored with the whole collection! Black and white swimwear, maillots and bikinis, casual and sophisticated lounge wear and caps all with an incredible design sense.Go now, check it out!

Adriana Degreas is a Brazillian designer who was born into a family with deep-rooted history in vintage shopping – stocking designers like Emilio Pucci, Azzedine Aläia, Pierre Cardin and André Courrèges, among others – Brazilian designer Adriana Degreas stepped out to combine elegant, sophisticated shapes and high-end materials, making her creations glamorous works of art.

Adriana turned to the swimwear world when she got married and started working with her husband and his family. He was in charge of a beachwear company with 60 years of tradition. In 2001, proposing a glamorous beach, she decided to accomplish an authorial project, today known as “Adriana Degreas”.

Cut outs cut outs cut outs...

This maxi sleeveless lounge wear set reminds me of a cross between Schiaparelli and Jantzen.Sleek. stylish and on trend. A great use of the image silhouette to the body, no?

Sophisticated cutouts, fabulous use of see-through fabrics and stunning design details.

You all know how much I love sleeved swimwear because it's just so unexpected, and this baby does not disappoint!

My hat is off to you Adriana! Fabulous and on trend for me, a mix of retro styling with sophistication, elegance and a bit of peek-a-boo. Bon Chance.
