Image is from 1930 by Byron Harmon. Chateau lake Louise, Banff National Park, Canada. Byron was a photographer of the Canadian Rockies.
This image is mesmerizing and chilling at the same time. What a beautiful image of a diver, in form, against the natural beauty of the environment. Snow on the mountains in the background, and you know that lake is not heated. How many of you go swimming in the middle of winter?

Swimming is forbidden in the lakes of the Rockies, so I bet that gal is diving into the Banff Hot Springs pool? I'm from Alberta, Canada. Great image!
Actually, maybe they used to have a pool at the Chateau or still do? In either case, there is always snow and glacier visible on the mountains at Banff, even in summer. Love it!
